For 30 years the InternSource program has contracted with government and private agencies to provide human resources and payroll services for their student employment programs.  InternSource has placed more than 30,000 students in jobs throughout California.  Our success is the result of our qualified staff, commitment to customer service, flexibility in program design, and our wide array of services.

Eligibility

To qualify, you must be a student enrolled in at least six semester units (or the equivalent in quarter units) at an accredited higher education institution. Additionally, you must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher.

As InternSource is a program of The Community College Foundation (TCCF), TCCF will serve as your Employer of Record. This means that TCCF will be responsible for issuing your paycheck, maintaining your personnel file, and handling employment-related matters such as workers’ compensation and unemployment claims for your work site. For example, any verification of your employment will be conducted through TCCF. Additionally, TCCF can assist you in editing your resume and offers valuable tips on interviewing and securing a job.

Our Interns

InternSource is a full-service program that recruits, hires and manages paid student interns for government agencies and private industry. Companies benefit from the talent, energy and enthusiasm of student interns to develop their future workforce while students gain knowledge and insight from working in their chosen field of study. InternSource currently employs hundreds of students who work in a variety of positions that include but are not limited to: Engineering, Project Management, Management Information Systems, Clerical, Computer Programming

How We Support You

InternSource takes pride in being detail-oriented and attentive to all of our customers' needs. If your agency requires special services, we can collaborate to customize a program and contract that provides the most value. InternSource will target students and find interns specific to your needs, allowing your worksite to have full control over the selection process. For example, if your company wants an engineering intern from a college in Alameda County, we can find that student for you. We also produce tailored student job announcements and share them with our contacts at over 100 public and private high schools and higher education institutions. Additionally, we post job announcements on our website, making it easy for students to access job information at any time.
